And I missed out. This is proper goodness. Isent it great to be alive and kicking. And do bad grammer. Shakespere cant write. I wonder if. Brilliant Masterpiece Check out that Intergalactic bassline Great song.
Always reminds me of a Vodafone advert some years ago. I was a lot younger, life was simpler, had the world at my feet.
What a song takes me back! Was just stuck in my head this morning and i have no idea why as ive not heard it for 20 years! And so had to jump on and relive it here! I can't stop saying this as a Graduate musician, this is the best intro ever, middle 8 and outplay ever in terms of a 3 minute track, just perfectly executed.
Doesn't get the credit is deserves, just a great great piece of work. Grammarly adverts Some criticise the Britpop era,but for me as a Punk from the seventies it was just the kids picking up from where we left off.
One of my favourite guitar solos. I love songs where the lead guitar plays the same part but the chords under it change, INXS 'New Sensation' being another example. Used right at the end of a great little film called ' This boy's story ' about two brothers who run away to Liverpool to see Manchester Utd play in the 's , and George Best is their idol. At the end of the film set in modern day time he's now walking through a park and meets George Best with his American wife who asks' Who's George Best?
I would love too see that film again if anyone knows how to get hold of it. Mark Wears I was just asking about this.. T-Mobile, that is all I think when I hear this song. Love this song, ha ha. As an American, I will say that Manchester has produced some of the best fucking music I've ever heard in my life, England in General, but Manchester, wow! One of only two places where almost everything that came out of it is the most fucking emotionally gripping, most fantastic music ever heard.
The second place is new York, punk rock and hip hop in the 90s. Yes I know England also owns punk rock and hard core but you can't deny the new York scene. I remember first listening to this song when I was 13, it's vintage and it's awesome. This was different a one hit wonder but awesome to indie music in madchesters you still had the oasis blur stone roses charleton.
Oh No!!! Great song - use to remind me of a mate that use to dance like the lead singer. Man I miss the 90s so much. The golden years of my life. Not a care in the world just endless happy memories. I feel sorry for the future generations. It was these fellas that put the idea into my head that it was cool to look grumpy.
Posting that with the vid makes you think they're as miserable as they look. Can you understand me now? I'll get it through somehow You won't ever get me down Won't see me hanging around.
